SPIC MACAY Lecture Inspires Youth to Embrace India’s Heritage
On 2nd September 2025, A. M. Jain School had the honour of hosting an insightful and thought-provoking lecture under the banner of SPIC MACAY at Gyan Bhavan. The session was led by Padma Shri Dr. Kiran Seth, the distinguished founder of SPIC MACAY, on the theme “Indian Knowledge Systems – Its Relevance for the Youth of Today.”
Through meaningful anecdotes, real-life examples, and reflections from India’s vast cultural legacy, Dr. Seth encouraged students to rediscover the richness of Indian heritage. He highlighted the need to apply its timeless principles—discipline, mindfulness, and holistic thinking—in modern-day life.
The interactive nature of the session allowed students to deeply engage with the topic, reflect on their values, and understand the importance of staying rooted in tradition while adapting to a rapidly evolving world.
Dr. Seth also emphasized the relevance of yoga, traditional art forms, innovation, and global perspectives—urging the youth to take pride in who they are.
The lecture served as an enriching experience for both students and teachers. It beautifully showcased the enduring efforts of SPIC MACAY in nurturing cultural awareness, inspiring young minds, and keeping India’s heritage alive for future generations.
