A M Jain School and College inaugurated their Community Outreach Programme “SAMRAKSHANA” on 9th June 2022 along with RYA (Rajasthan Youth Association-Madras Metro Trust) . We seek the support of all students, parents, teachers and staff members in this mission. Particularly, we request parents to encourage children to be part of this noble cause. All we need to do is to set aside a fistful of rice (kai-pidi arisi) every day in our homes. The collected rice is then packed (preferably in cloth bag) and brought to school in the first week of every month, to be dropped into the blue coloured rice bins which are kept at the school campus. RYA vans would collect the donated rice on the 9th of every month from our campus, which will be used in their kitchens to prepare food to be distributed to the needy across the city and its surrounding regions. Let us join together and make this programme a grand success!
