Nalanda was an ancient Mahavihara, a revered Buddhist monastery which also served as a renowned centre of learning, in the ancient kingdom of Magadha (modern-day Bihar) in India.[ It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Agurchand Manmull Jain School, Meenambakkam, conducted its Virtual investiture ceremony on August 14th 2020. Investiture ceremony is one of the most important events of any school. The celebration on that day makes every child who is elected as leader feel proud as well as a sense of responsibility to be leaders in making for tomorrow. The members of the students’ council were introduced. Our MS. Principal Pramodaa Menon led them to the oath taking ceremony and enabled the leaders, realize their responsibilities and to be humane.
