India celebrates its Republic Day on January 26 every year. It is that historic moment when India’s Constitution came into being on 26 January 1950. Since the moment India's Constitution was drawn up, India became the largest democracy that it has come to be, and the Constitution replaced the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India. We celebrated the Republic day on 26.01.2021 amid corona restrictions at the Agurchand Manmull Jain School venue. The Event was a great success and Instilled a great sense of patriotism among the teachers and students who took part. Our Principal Mrs. Pramodha Menon unfurled the National Flag and motivated the teachers to stand united amid all our trials as one nation and one community!. She had also stressed the importance of taking precautions and showing strength in character amid these pandemic times. She wished all the students, teachers and parents a Happy Republic day and a very good year ahead! Great Mahatma Gandhi said, “A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people". The Teachers of Agurchand Manmull Jain School participated with Social Distancing, Shared sweets and took an Oath together to nurture and educate the children to their best and thus to create a better Future for India. Let us all with one unity patriotism and sense of duty give our best in making the life and thoughts of our Children better! "Freedom in mind, Faith in our heart, Memories in our souls. Let’s salute the Nation on Republic Day!"
