Our Balvatika student P.Mithun Kashyap, from UKG G sec, has made it into the India Book Of Records 2022, During the month of September, our kindergarten focused on various academic areas such as literacy, numeracy, and science.

Green colour day was celebrated on 8th September. Children enjoyed green day as part of their daily activities. It was a wonderful learning experience for the children. Green is the colour of the nature and energy which is associated with meanings of growth, fertility and environment.

On September 1, 2023, we celebrated Grandparents' Day, emphasizing the importance of respecting and caring for our grandparents. Students created heartfelt greeting cards to express their love and appreciation for the unconditional love, kindness, and wisdom their grandparents provide. This celebration highlights the valuable strength, information, and guidance that older generations offer to children.

Place the cones in a straight line and the children to walk in between the cones in zig - zag.

Place the cones in front of the children and give them some plastic rings to throw it in the cone

Children enjoyed their walking on the circle which we have painted, children often gain a sense of harmony and relaxation in response to the combination of intense mental concentration and body control required to complete the activity.

We have given a picture of a parrot to all the children. Make the children to dip their thumb in the green paint and print on the picture. The children can enjoy the activity and they know their shape of the finger.

Take a paper cut like a jelly fish face and some pieces of woollen thread. Apply glue at the back of the jelly fish face and stick woollen thread pieces. Then stick it on a paper. It improves the creativity and concentration of the children.

Make the children to arrange the alphabet blocks and number blocks in order. All out door games improves the motor skills 0f the children.

It helps to develop imagination and by giving outline they able to identify the animal and they really loved it.

Improves concentration, eye-hand co-ordination. Children can get to know about the eight tentacles and its shape.

Niharika from UKG – D sec received an award for RAABA BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS and received a title as “ NRITHYA KALAIVANI”.  

Celebrated Fruits Day on 28.06.2023, educating 500 students and staff about the nutritional value of fruits. The event featured attractive fruit displays, tasting sessions, a fruit quiz, and a creative art competition, successfully promoting healthy eating habits and increasing fruit awareness among participants.

Count the balls and place it on correct number, able to identify the number and improves concentration.

By working with natural objects, children are exploring their different shapes and colours.

 Enable children to be imaginative and creative. It promotes the growth of mind.

Flower kolam was exhibited and students were explained about the significance of onam. 

 Blue colour day is celebrated on 16th august. Children enjoyed blue day as part of their daily activities. It is a wonderful learning experience for the children.Students have a clear sense of the colour and its important. To know the importance of water and take oath to “ SAVE WATER “. Butterfly

 To inculcate the importance of caring for animals we celebrate the animal kingdom. It is also helpful to identify the different kinds of animals. Animal kingdom was displayed in the form of jungle, farm and water animals on August 24th 2023.

 Make the children to jump from the first circle to last circle by telling the numbers. It is an excellent game for young children as it allows them to learn how to jump, gain their balance and recognize the order of numbers

Apply glue on a fish picture and paste the pencil waste in order. It develops eye hand coordination, accuracy in hand and finger movements, following instructions, visual discrimination focus, autonomy, independence, self-esteem and patience.

It is an excellent activity which offers the children the chance to explore the versatility of cotton as a craft material which enhancing their fine motor skills and creativity.

Draw an outline of a house, apply glue on it and paste the gram dhal on it.  It is a sensory activity that aims to develop fine motor skills and pincer grip. It is also improves order,co-ordination etc..

Apply glue on ice cream stick and paste it as hands for fan. It develops the motor and cognitive skills of the children. It also develops the eye hand co-ordination.

In the month of August, our kindergarten has been bustling with excitement as we kick off the new month. The children have been settling into their new ideas of activities and we have helped them to bloom their creativity on their own.

Mix the rice in different colours and make it dry. Decorate the frame by pasting the rice. This activity encourages the children to use their imagination and creativity.

Dip the thumb in the paint and print on the ball picture. This is a great way for kids of all ages to see how the shape of their thumb print pressed in paint and transformed to an object.

Tear the paper in to pieces and paste it in an apple picture. It is a simple activity helps the child to build fine motor skills. It is also a fun way to develop the child’s awareness of colours and texture.

 Arrange the objects in correct place. It develops the memory skills, as well as an ability to plan and solve problems

Threading is a great activity to help children develop fine motor skill. It also helps to develop eye-hand coordination and concentration skills. Through this activity they can identify the letter – “ Cc “.

Crawling is an important gross motor skill. It also helps with balance body awareness coordination and visual tracking.

Engage children in learning with our 'Setting Pyramid: Counting Activity.' It's an interactive way to boost math skills and foster a love for numbers.

Through this activity they can identify the number - “2”. It helps to develop hand and eye co- ordination and improves the fine motor skill.

Paper tearing is a simple fine motor activity. Tearing strengthens the muscles of the fingers and whole hand.  It develops fine motor control which is necessary for learning to write.Children actively participated in letter recognition activities, phonics exercises, and storybook reading sessions to enhance their language skills.

On September 5th children were dressed up like Radhe and Krishna. Cultural activities were performed and the significance of Krishna Jayanthi and recited Krishna ashtagam and some Vishnu slokas. Dressing up – like Krishna and Radha, decorating the pot, crown, idols,  singing songs, recitating slokas through these children came to know about the divine birth of Krishna

 Children participated in Rangostav competition enthusiastically like Colouring, Collage, Thumb print they use their imaginative power on their own. Handwriting helps to hold the pencil griply, able to identify the letters. Helps to know about their creativity, imagination happily participated in the competition, they choose colour on their own.

Make the children to throw the ball in to the basket.

Popular tossing game is challenging both physically and mentally as it requires concentration and body control to assess the distance and throw the rings with precision.

Take two full size ice cream stick and two half size ice cream stick. Paste two them opposite sides to make a rectangle.

Take a lady bug picture. Ask the children to give red colour and take out of the sticker from bindi and paste it on the circles on the lady bug. It is a good fine motor activity for the children

Take a paper cuts of a cone and half circle and paste it on a paper to make an ice cream. 

Finger strengthening activity to developing eye hand co-ordination.  It helps to create imagination. 

Children actively paint their finger with different colour, place them on paper to leave unique finger print, children able to know the different insects by drawing antenna, eyes, wings.

As part of our September theme, 'OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD,' UKG students visited A M Jain School's main building on 11-09-2023. Accompanied by eight teachers, around 200 children explored the campus, including the health center, labs, office, sports room, playground, and gallery, discovering the importance of these facilities and enjoying the vast school grounds.

Children dipped their palm in the colour. It develop their skills of independence and able to do themselves.

Salt tracing engages the sense and exciting way for children to learn the letter ‘ C ‘ curve.

Parents are asked to send one napkin along with the children. We teach the children about the process of clothes washing :- How to soak, rinse, wash and dry the napkins with proper clothes clips. The activity completed with rolling of dried napkins. It comes under the value education activities.

Draw a circle and ask the children to jump into the circle again to jump out of the circle. It helps to develop the attention and focus in a playful setting. 

Talk about National flag, National emblem and National symbols. A flag was drawn and colour it with vegetable print. It embarks the Sense of patriotism, know about the colours of National Flag, Unity.

Make the children to walk on zig- zag line. It increases the heart rate, works on coordination, enhances balance and improves the speed of the children.

Tear yellow and brown colour paper into pieces and paste it on a giraffe picture. It develops the hand strength, hand eye coordination, precision, refined movements, and bilateral co-ordination.

Cut the ladies finger into two halves, dip it in the black paint and print it on the elephant picture. Use them as like a stamp and print on the paper can help children to improve the eye hand co-ordination.

Take purple colour paper and cut it into circles. Paste in order to make grapes. It helps the children to develop their awareness of colour, shape and texture.

Kids are doing amazing paper collages, turning their creativity into vibrant, textured works of art

Dip the cotton in the blue paint and print it on the dolphin. It develops the self- expression with paint and fine motor development and eye hand co-ordination.

Apply glue on a cloud picture and paste cotton on it. It develops the cognitive development, critical thinking skill and also the awareness of the texture and colour of the cotton.

Take a serving tray with low edges and put thin layer of rice in the tray. Make the children to write the letter “ A” on rice.  It develops the eye hand co-ordination, and fine motor skills. The child can recognise the letter.

Advantages of napkin folding for kids are the children can learn self-control, patience, and focus by folding napkins. Also it increases the cognitive development of the children.

Kids are celebrating the nutritional and sustainable power of millets with enthusiasm and joy!

Hand wash is the best way to remove germs and prevent the spread of germs to others. Through this activity children came to know how to wash their hands

Walking on the line is a full body exercise. It promotes cognitive development.

The activity of water filling helps to develop and strengthen children's gross and fine motor skills.

Tracing helps little ones refine their prewriting skills and builds the foundation for drawing and writing letters.

Woolen cloth was cut into pieces and used to outline a picture of a mango to teach about the fruit and its yellow color. This activity helps improve fine motor skills.They engaged in hands-on math activities involving counting, sorting, identification of shapes, greater, lesser, rupees and coins.
