AKSHRABHYASAM
Aksharabhyasa is a significant ritual that marks the start of education. Akshara means “Alphabets” and Abhyasa means “practice”. It is also known as Vidyarambham.

INAUGURATION OF COLOURS DAY
Learning the colours is a milestone in early childhood and represents a child's cognitive understanding. Exposing children to and teaching them about the colours develops their visual perception – which is the ability of the brain to correctly interpret what the eyes see
Our balvatika teachers decorated the class board with all the different colourful objects and explained about the different colours and its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the children

FRUITS DAY
The objective of the event is to create awareness among children about the importance of the consumption of fruits on regular diets. To celebrate fruit day is to promote healthy eating habits in students.


ANIMAL KINGDOM
To know about the different types of animals, their habitat, food and learn about the preservation of animals, forest etc.,


NAVARATRI CELEBRATIONS
Celebration of the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness. The children learnt about the decoration with steps( Golu Bommai), learnt many slokas, songs and dances that highlight Goddess Durga’s power.


RED COLOUR DAY
The 'Red Colour Day' celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours, there by reinforcing cognitive skills.


DIWALI
Children brought diyas so they came to know that the Diwali is the festival of lights! They wore new clothes and got blessings from elders.


BLUE COLOUR DAY
The dress code of the day was blue. It is often associated with depth and stability. Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, and truth. In order to emphasize the importance of the Blue colour day for our Balvatika students all things blue were displayed



SENSE BOOTH
Sense booth is a Visual Representation of all Sense Organs in Models, Charts. It helps the children to touch, feel, taste, smell and explore the things which we had displayed and get to know about the sense organs in our body by practical way of learning.

SEASONS
The day started with activities and practical methods of learning by experience of all the things associated with different seasons which we had displayed. It helps the children to get a deep understanding and clear knowledge about the different seasons and the weather changes. They also came to know about the foods, articles and dress material which are used during the specific seasons.


PONGAL CELEBRATIONS
Balvatika children celebrated the Pongal festival in a unique way, before a week they were guided to plant some seeds in their own mud pot, and asked to monitor their growth by watering the pants in their own way. After a week, we explained the process and introduced the farmers' occupation and the concept of the Pongal festival as a harvest festival and thankßgiving festival to all living things supported in our food cultivation.






CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
Children participated actively in the Christmas celebrations, which inculcates the concept of sharing, happiness in giving, decorating creatively and exchanging small gifts.

CLASS ACTIVITIES
We have an enormous number of class activities on a daily basis to teach the children by play way learning method and activity-based learning methods.....with hands-on experience.
RANGOTSAV
Rangotsav Celebration is conducted by the Organization For National Level Competition, the main aspect of this competition is to Celebrate the colors in all kinds of arts and crafts, every year it provides an opportunity to many children to show their talents in their creativity and uniqueness through their various art works like tattoo making, greeting card making, finger and thumb painting, photography sketching, cartoon making, handwriting and coloring. This year our Balvatika children won many gold medals and Golden Art Awards in the above categories.
MEDICAL CAMP
Medical Camp @ Balvatika organized by our Management to provide the initial health check up to all Balvatika Children, by the General Physician, Dentists and Opthalmologists. They have done a limited health intervention amongst all the children and identify their sign of illness, advice was given based on the results.
SHOW & TELL
Show and tell the competition based activity for young children in which a child brings an object into the class and talks to the other children about it., the aim of this activity is to provide an opportunity for all children to stand up in front of their friends and speak about a topic that interest them or share something that they love. It builds confidence and helps children develop effective communication skills
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Sports activities help building positive self- esteem in children. In addition, participating in various sports can be a helpful way of increasing their physical and mental abilities to achieve goals, social behaving skills, team work and self-confidence
