SEASONS

The day started with activities and practical methods of learning by experience  of all the things associated  with different seasons which we had displayed. It helps the children to get a deep understanding and clear knowledge about the different seasons and the weather changes. They also came to know about the foods, articles and dress material which are used during the specific seasons.

PONGAL CELEBRATIONS

Balvatika children celebrated the Pongal festival in a unique way, before a week they were guided to plant some seeds in their own mud pot, and asked to monitor their growth by watering the pants in their own way. After a week, we explained the process and introduced the farmers' occupation and the concept of the Pongal festival as a harvest festival and thankßgiving festival to all living things supported in our food cultivation.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

Children participated actively in the Christmas celebrations, which inculcates the concept of sharing, happiness in giving, decorating creatively and exchanging small gifts.
